The Red Wing Area Food Shelf works to strengthen food security through dignified and equitable access to healthy and nutritious food.

We primarily serve people from the Red Wing area, but all are welcome to come, regardless of area of residence. Some people visit on a one-time basis, others come monthly or weekly.

Our intake process is brief and private, and patrons get to choose from all grocery items themselves. Friendly volunteers are available to provide assistance when needed. No ID is necessary to come to the food shelf. We will ask for your name, address, and household members, which is optional to provide.
